Today we celebrate the Nativity of our Lord. On this day we recall the prologue to the Gospel of John (1:1-2). “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:14) “And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.”
