Bible Study

The Bible is a book that communicates God's love and grace in stories, poetry and letters. Bible study helps us to see how God was at work in these ancient stories - and to discover how God is at work our lives and our stories today. We read everything in the Bible through the lens of God's grace.

Commitment to Bible study has been part of life at Redeemer for many years. Members of the Women’s Bible Study bring a variety of experiences and perspectives to enrich the discussion and help us all deepen our understanding of God’s Word.

bibles We have recently been studying the book of Acts, focusing on the early church and the spread of Christianity to Asia Minor and even to Europe. This will be followed by a study of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, one of the congregations established in Acts. For each lesson, members read a selection from the Bible, then use a study guide to prepare for discussion.

The Women’s Bible Study usually meets at 9:30 am on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in the parlor at Redeemer. Check the church calendar for upcoming dates.
