Redeemer Women

Redeemer Women meet the first Monday of the month at noon to share a meal and fellowship. Our group is part of Redeemer’s congregational unit of the Women of the ELCA. We embrace their purpose statement as we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings and engage in ministry and action.

We support and donate to many causes including our own congregation, our synod, ELCA World Hunger, Lutheran World Relief and Lutheran Social Services among others. A recent Redeemer Women fundraiser collected over $500.00 for the water project of ELCA World Hunger. Recent donations have been to the Pine Street Inn, Boston and to the NE Women of the ELCA in support of a scholarship for a Honduran Nursing student. The Christian Lutheran Church of Honduras is linked with the New England Synod through the ELCA Companion Synod Program.
