The After School Club is a high quality after school care program for Woburn children in grades K-6. It is a joint ministry of this church and the United Methodist Church of Woburn, and it is housed here at 60 Forest Park Road, where it operates on school days from 2:45 to 5:45 p.m., and full time during the school vacations, including summers. Transportation is provided from most Woburn schools.
Program directors Leslie Hastings and Chris Serson and the staff at the After School Club plan a variety of activities for each week, including arts and crafts, sports, nature studies, music, drama, cooking, and games. A strong emphasis is placed on academic achievement and reading, as well as on the values of compassion, sharing, respect, and responsibility.
