Lutheran Church of the Redeemer

Woburn, Massachusetts

...where people know each other’s names and friendships are fostered...that lets you keep in touch via sermon podcasts, weekly emails, Facebook, and Twitter...where the rhythms of ancient liturgy and modern life meet...where your ideas and talents are encouraged...where children have a central place...where all ages are invited to deepen their relationship with God...where faith in Jesus Christ unites a diversity of practices and backgrounds.

Welcome to Redeemer!  We are a welcoming, caring, and growing community of faith located in the heart of the Boston suburbs. Located less than two miles from the intersection of I-93 and Route 128, the people of Redeemer live, worship, and serve together at the intersection of life and faith.

From our founding in 1893, we have been ministering to the people of Woburn and surrounding towns, including Burlington, Winchester, Reading, Melrose, and Wakefield. Our members come from over 14 different communities, and some come from as far as Newton and Ipswich.  We welcome people from every walk of life.

Imagine a congregation...

We are a community anchored in Jesus Christ, accompanying all who journey in faith and search for meaning in a complex world.
